I am very please to have been chosen as a featured luthier for The Luthierist Podcast by host Paul Rhoney for an audio podcast as well as a video podcast interview.
These podcast touch on my background as well as my approach to my design, building philosophy, and processes.
The Luthierist Podcasts are an extensive library of valuable audio and video podcast, which I highly recommend.
This wonderful performance is by Mark Turnbull, a dear friend and client of mine, that request a bespoke instrument for performing Bach Cello Concertos. The instrument is sized like a T14 tenor, but with five strings and tuned to cello, with a custom string set for cello tuning at a short scale length. The collaborative design process evolved into a Oregon Bastogne Walnut back/side, Euro Carpathian soundboard, Bastogne Walnut cantilevered neck, and my hybrid Kasha tonebar system.
